The Seaside Thing

We did the seaside thing, D and I.  Just a couple of days in beautiful Dorset.  We strolled along gorse-lined Studland beach when there was barely another soul around, the sand between our toes and the sea breeze through our hair.  We ate salty chips from polystyrene trays in Swanage under flapping flags and the watchful glare of seagulls and fed coins into noisy arcade games.  We bought fudge (and yarn!) from busy shops and dodged pushchairs and excited children.

July was a bit of a mixed bag to be honest.  I greet August with slightly recharged batteries and lots to share with you.

Back very soon.

  8. I love these photographs and I love the seaside. It is the only place where I will spend a pound on tuppences to feed into those hungry machines and see how long I can make that pound last.
